MANJESHWAR: A comprehensive training programme for members of the Altar Servers, Marian Sodality, and the Missionary Childhood Association (MCA) was conducted at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Manjeshwar, on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

A total of 57 children actively participated in the half-day session, which focused on faith formation, active participation in liturgical celebrations, and the active role of young people in the Church's ongoing mission. Resource persons led interactive discussions aimed at helping children understand their specific responsibilities within parish activities and community outreach.

The initiative was successfully conducted under the guidance and support of Parish Priest Rev. Fr Edwin Pinto, along with the parish pastoral team, who emphasized the importance of nurturing leadership qualities and Christian values among the youth from an early age.
